Surprise! Today I decided to transform my humble little blog into my mission blog!! A little early for that, you might be saying to yourself, but actually I only have 2 short months left until I leave for the MTC. Crazy right?! I'm a little excited. :) But also a little bit sad because I won't be able to hold this beautiful little girl for 18 months. I may or may not be in this exact position right now typing with only one hand... ;)I've been doing a bit of research about my mission and found a wonderful blog just for me and everything I need to know about my mission! It's great. :) I learned that the mission motto is "Camina Conmigo," which means "Walk with Me" in Spanish. It comes from Moses 6:34, which reads:
Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will
I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers
shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in
you; therefore walk with me.
I love that scripture! It reminds me that I am going out to teach the people of Chile with Christ. He will be with me at all times, and I will be his mouthpiece. I love this church and I know that it is true. It has shaped me into the person that I am today, and I cannot wait to teach others about the happiness that I feel daily because of it.
